Jaclyn is a native of Sevier County, where she has resided for twenty-seven years. Jaclyn graduated from Gatlinburg-Pittman High School and then earned her BA in Business Administration with honors in 2013 from King University in Bristol, TN. Jaclyn was also a member of the tennis team during her time at King University. She is currently a JD candidate at Lincoln Memorial University’s Duncan School of Law and will graduate in December, 2018.
Jaclyn is committed to serving the profession and her community, and is currently serving as a member of the Student Bar Association and numerous pro-bono service groups at Duncan School of Law. Those include the Veteran’s Law Society, Immigration Law Society, Criminal Law Society, Sons of Justice, Women of the Law, and the Law in Fine Arts. Jaclyn is also a Student Ambassador at the law school, and in that role was invited to study the fundamentals of evidence and comparative law abroad in Liacheong, China in the summer of 2016. Jaclyn is a member of the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association (TTLA) and the American Association of Justice (AAJ).
Jaclyn’s diverse experience in law and business is consistently present in her ability to assist the firm’s attorneys in researching and analyzing the legal issues faced by their clients. Her work ethic and analytical skills are a real asset to the firm. Jaclyn provides assistance to the firm’s attorneys with various aspects of the litigation process, and has quickly gained a good grasp on that process. In her role as a law clerk for the firm, she has worked on a variety of civil litigation matters, including personal injury, domestic relations, municipal law and commercial litigation. Jaclyn’s strong belief in community and unwavering commitment to others have always been core values for her, and will continue to be as she excels in her law career.
